Beef trachea is solid cartilaginous tube surrounded by muscle meat, descending from the larynx to the bronchi and carrying air to the lungs. Bovine Trachea cartilage has anti-inflammatory properties which are believed to relieve the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. This food is also a very good source of Chonroitin Sulfate, a nutrient touted for its joint benefit.
Bovine Tracheal cartilage also has shown to be promising in slowing cancer cell and tumor growth.
Proline, glycine and hydroxyproline are amino acids abundant in cartilage, bone and the skin of animals and fish.
